SPINE will play in the 2010 Cultural Olympiad March 10- 20, 2010 for ten performances at the Fei & Milton Wong Experimental Theatre at SFU/ Woodwards.
SPINE is a fast paced, sensually evocative and playful exploration of identity in the face of a sudden transformation in one's life. A play performed in blended reality created through innovative use of new technology, somewhere between the virtual and the real.
Remember: here, anything is possible. You can do anything. You can be anything. In here, it's not what happens, but how it happens. And with whom.
SPINE is a thrilling hunt for the body and soul-mate that best defines us, in a world where the virtual can be more real than real itself.
At your very core, who are you?
SPINE is a co-production with the University of Alberta, co-presented by Simon Fraser University and co-commissioned by the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad.
